How long will an inspection take?
Most home inspections take between 2–3 hours, depending on the size, age, and condition of the property. Larger homes or older properties, especially those over 100 years old, may require additional time to ensure every system is thoroughly evaluated. Time is taken at the end of the inspection to educate the buyers about the home and any issues that were observed.
What does a home inspection entail?
A home inspection is a comprehensive, visual assessment of a property’s major systems and components. This includes the roof, exterior, structure, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, interior, and more. Your inspector evaluates both strengths and areas that may require attention, repair, or further evaluation.
Why do I need a home inspection?
A home inspection provides critical insight into the true condition of a property. Whether you're buying or selling, it helps you understand potential safety issues, upcoming maintenance needs, and hidden defects—giving you confidence, negotiating power, and peace of mind.
